*Update for Writing Contest*

Hey, y’all! Just want to let you know that the final date for the ending of the writing contest is the 10th of December. Sorry for changing it so much. I just thought that with the Christmas season y’all would be busy. So it would take longer to write your stories. I would appreciate it if y’all would tell me in the comments if you are planning on doing the contest🙂🙂.

And I have decided to have a prize. The winner will get to read my fan fiction that I wrote for the Andi blog before anybody else reads it!!

Time: Dec 10th

Prize: My fan fiction story that has not been published yet.

Part 1- Escape From North Korea!

Ari’s breath came in short gasps. We’re almost there. She thought. Ari grabbed her little brother’s hand and said, ” Min Joon, we must go now!” Ari and Min Joon were fleeing from their captors, they were trying to escape from North Korea. They were almost across the border when the soldiers saw them. “Eomeoni, please, if you are up there help us!” Ari cried in Korean, up at the clear dark sky in anger. Ari and Min Joon’s mother died last month of a horrid disease. Then their father got too dangerous to be around and started beating Ari and Min Joon. A few hours ago, Ari had snuck her and her brother out of their little apartment and fled for their lives. Ari thought about how in North Korea, they drilled everything into everybody, about how good they all had it, no! Ari thought. I will not listen to their garbage,m they killed Eomeoni! One of the soldiers shouted breaking into Ari’s thoughts. “Come back, you little yeoja!” Ari’s little brother started to slow down. “Little hyeongje, we have to keep going!” Ari said to her brother. Min Joon whimpered. By now the guards almost had them. Ari saw something up ahead and gasped. It was a large barbed wire fence! Ari lifted Min Joon onto her hip and started running faster and faster. Min Joon was 6 years old but weighed barely anything, because, in North Korea, nobody has jobs so nobody can afford food and everybody is malnourished. It did not help that their father had spent all the money on alcohol, so they had not had much to eat over the past few weeks. Ari was 14 herself but was way underweight for a 14-year-old. Ari searched for a place to slide under the fence but found none!

Eomeoni- means Mother in Korean.

Hyeongje- means brother in Korea.

Ari- means pretty, lovely, and beautiful.

Min Joon- means clever and talented.

Stay tuned for part 2!!

In Jesus Name Amen.

“Daddy, how do I let Jesus into my heart?” Little Annie asked her father after they read the Bible.

“Are you sure you are ready? This is a big thing, Annie.”

“I know, Daddy, but I love, Jesus. And I want him to come into my heart. And be my, father, in Heaven.”

By now, Annie’s father was wearing a smile of pride. My little girl is growing up. He thought. Thank you, Lord, for letting her come to this decision.

“Ok. Here is how you do it: ask God to come into your heart and cleanse you of your sins. Ask him to be your heavenly Father. And to help you through out your life.”

“Ok, Daddy. Lord, Jesus, I love you so much. Please come into my heart, Lord, take my sins away, please. Please be my heavenly father and help me through the hard times I am going to go through. In, Jesus, name

                     Amen….

The Forest!

Once, there was a little girl named Susie Anne. One day she was walking through the forest thinking about how wonderful it was. The way the trees swayed, the way the leaves fall, and the the little chipmunks and such chittered here and there. She thought at how wonderful God Almighty had been to make such a wonderful place as this. She kept walking for awhile singing praises to God above that she lived near a place like this. But she knew that she had to get back before her mother worried about her. She took a long look at the forest and a long breath of the clean air. Thanked God and headed back to her mother, father and family.

The End.
